The Second Annual Taste of the Gold Coast
What an amazing summer! Our two largest events kept us extremely busy and were huge successes! For those who missed it, The Taste of the Gold Coast was a hit! there was more food in one room than we’ve ever seen before! On Thursday, August 26th, over 300 guests attended the 2nd Annual Taste of the Gold Coast at the Sutton Place Hotel. Anna Davlantes of FOX Chicago kicked off the event, which featured restaurants such as Il Mulino, Cape Cod Room at The Drake, Tavern on Rush, RA Sushi, Merlo on Maple and more! Alderman Brendan Reilly & wife Kristin, NBC’s Marcus Riley and FOX’s Lou Canellis and wife Monica all stopped by to support the event, which helped raise over $2,000 for the North Dearborn Association. Neighborhood locals and foodies alike indulged on all-you-can-eat fare from participating restaurants and Goose Island brew, while enjoying entertainment by vocalist Nan Mason & Multi-Instrumentalist Terry Higgins!

Most recently, last week On Thursday, September 16th, over 150 guests attended the first annual Who IS Chicago, an event honoring 10 of the most influential players in the philanthropic and non-profit community. Dressed to impress, guests we’re greeted by champagne, Swirlz cupcakes and appetizers courtesy of Japonais at Cuvee lounge in River North – Vanessa Hall, Assistant Press Secretary of the Mayor’s Press Office, helped us kick off the event as our emcee.
